There are jobs out there, but people don't want to do what is necessary to get them. Sometimes you have to move. I have moved even though I had a family. You can retrain. When computers began to be an office necessity I took some courses and learned what I needed to know in order to be eligible to be hired. When things got slow, I opened my own business writing resumes at a reasonable rate and made money hand over fist.Finally, I got a job offer from Microsoft Corp.
