Sigh. I like Abrams work mostly and if I witnessed TV (I don't, but if its a good series I'll rent it/stream the item later) and I am aware that there are only so many threads of original ideas that is mined. I'm fine with that in addition. I enjoy when a different take is done on a classic idea. BUT, I must draw the line once the derivative does not give proper credit for the original idea.
